Privacy Policy

Last updated: 6 November 2026

Mjenzi Technologies ("Mjenzi Cloud", "we", "us") operates mjenzi.cloud. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why, and the choices you have. We operate in Australia, Kenya, South Africa and Botswana and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (including the Australian Privacy Principles), the Kenya Data Protection Act 2019, South Africa's Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (POPIA) and Botswana's Data Protection Act.

What we collect

  • Details you give us when you use the contact form or send results from our tools: your name, email address, phone number, company and message.
  • Tool results you choose to send us: your Cloud & AI assessment answers and scores, server sizing inputs and spec sheet, or cloud configuration.
  • Technical information: your IP address and the time of submission, used to prevent spam and abuse.

Our assessment, sizing and configuration tools run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to us unless you press a "Send to Mjenzi", "Request a quote" or "Request pricing" button and submit your details. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes and arrange calls you've asked for.
  • To keep a record of our communications with you.
  • To protect the website from spam and misuse.

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't add you to marketing lists unless you ask us to.

Where it's stored and who sees it

Form submissions are stored on our web server and delivered to our team by email (Google Workspace / Gmail). Only Mjenzi staff who need to respond to you can access them. Some of these services may store data outside your country; where that happens we rely on the safeguards the applicable law requires.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and tool submissions for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we need them longer for an ongoing contract or a legal obligation. After that we delete them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, object to how we use it, or withdraw consent. To make a request, email cloud@mjenzi.com. We'll respond within 30 days.

If you're not happy with our response you can complain to your regulator: the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, Kenya's Office of the Data Protection Commissioner, South Africa's Information Regulator, or Botswana's Information and Data Protection Commission.

Security

The website is served over HTTPS, submissions are stored on access-controlled servers, and our Enterprise SOC practices apply to our own systems. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send passwords or other secrets through our forms.

Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
